The firm was established in 1954 known as Hemant Tools Trading Co. a family managed organization. In the course of time Two more firms were added Ms Kantilal Keshavalal in 1965 and Tools & Gauges in 1979.All the companies were merged in 1989 for making a consolidated effort, for a planned growth and Hemant Tools Pvt. Ltd. was formed.
The company was formed in the heart of the hardware market [ Nagdevi] with only a meager staff of 3. The Business at that time was only for Hand tools and Garage tools. Hemant Tools has flourished and now is One of the Biggest Companies in the Marketing of cutting Tools and Measuring Instruments in India. Hemant Tools now has Branch Offices at Pune, Banglore, Coimbatore and has 40 engineers under its wings in other major industrial cities. Reflecting this success and growth The Company Head Office too has now relocated from Nagdevi to Worli.
